Catfish and Grits
OoMmGgg Everyone should have a lil heaven on Earth and eat this, you'll sure to have a smile on your face! Really a scrumptious version of a classic combination.
Creole Salmon
I dined at Upper Kirby Bistro on August 16, 2024 for my birthday. Two weeks after the visit, I was filing away my receipts and realized that the tax that was charged on the bill was wrong. I had visited another restaurant the same weekend, had a higher bill but the tax was lower. After calculating, the tax that was charged was 14% of the subtotal of the bill. The subtotal was $617 and tax was $86.17. Then the mandatory 18% gratuity was of the subtotal and incorrect tax. I reached out to the business, the person who answered gave me the manager's number and prompted me to text so the person could respond when available. I have not heard back from the business after 2 weeks. This is concerning because if Five Central is incorrectly charging customers, this is fraud.
Da' Fried Rice
Da' fried rice was full of flavor. The plantain added the right amount of sweet to complement the savory. The shrimp were big and juicy and the portion size was right. Highly recommend.
Lobster Mac & Cheese
I had the lamb chops and lobster Mac and cheese which was so good! We celebrated my sister's birthday and our host was Victoria, she was so sweet and understanding of our big party of people and helped us out whenever we needed her or had a issue, she was on it! I appreciate how kind she was and how lively she kept us throughout the dinner, she does her job well and if you get her as a host you're guaranteed to have a good time and host who's easy to deal with it that cares!

It was the most delicious shrimp I have ever had. I want to go back just for the shrimp. Although all the happy hour dishes were good.
Lobster Mac & Cheese
Awesome selection, sending love to the chef and staff. The bartender staff is amazing. Sy she is a golden star! She works the bar with a beautiful smile, in the cigar lounge. This place is a 10 stars hands down! Keep up the great job!
Coconut Curry Chicken Wings
The ambiance is fantastic here. The staff is so friendly and attentive, especially our server Victoria D. And do not get me started on the food... The wings were exquisite! Perfectly cooked and so well seasoned! 10 out of 10 would recommend.
